What gorgeous weather you had too. Some friends of mine got married in the city garden some years back: So beautiful!

Oh, I heard of Hemer (haven't been there yet though). The boyfriend works at the uni in Dortmund (so do I until the end of this year). Funny that I could have seen your sister there! The world is soo small!

I know Lucy's wreaths. They were my inspiration but they were too full for my granny, so I decided to go with a more minimalistic version. I want to make a wreath like Lucy's autuum wreath one day for myself though!
Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04245498764155066221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960215912402855534.post-48087420111778247112014-10-01T09:23:10.174+02:002014-10-01T09:23:10.174+02:00Such nice pictures of this beautiful town. But I know Dortmund much better because I've grown up in Hemer, a small town about 40 km from Dortmund. We always did our bigger shoppings there. It is not a pretty town but very lively and with nice outskirts. I can understand that you like it there. My sister finished her bachelor in Dortmund just a couple of weeks ago. Funny, isn't it? The wreath you've made is so cute, I love wreaths and especially the once Lucy from attic24 has made. But they are such work with all the small details she adds to every wreath. Do you know them? She was in Berlin at Christmas last year and just LOVED the Christmas Market tradition. We don't have that here in Australia. My daughter has vowed to return to Germany in search of more Christmas Markets. Any recommendations to excellent markets will be warmly received! :-)Jodiebodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11377052537742885631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960215912402855534.post-60426050750112550552014-10-01T07:49:04.015+02:002014-10-01T07:49:04.015+02:00I am a teacher indeed! It makes sense that you were no longer homesick. Oldenburg had its place in your life and has shaped who you are and now Dortmund is "where you're at".
But to your granny, you will always be her granddaughter Anne. I am sure she always thinks of you when she sees your pretty crochet artistry.
Jodiebodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11377052537742885631noreply@blogger.com
